“Actually,” Vekter said, “I’m pretty sure they’re staring because Vekter just returned with an elfwoman who is clinging to him quite tightly. Not that I’m complaining, but if you keep that up they’re going to think I’m far more than your host.”
“Wha—what are you doing? Put me down at once!”
“It’s this or my grandmother’s sorcery.”
Taking a break from character reference sheets (which are taking me far too long ^^;) to draw some scenes from my book. This scene’s from chapter 7, where Vekter deals with an uncooperative Saiyel by scooping her up before she can offer further protest. It’s for her own good, really ;)
